I visited a few years ago and was glad to see that things aren't always the same. I love the Titanic area and amount of things to do here, well worth the money.

"More Interesting and Fun Than We Thought It Would Be"

My son is a reader of the Ripley's books. Therefore he wanted to go to the museum while we were in Panama City Beach. I agreed and off we went. The first section section was as expected with lots of interesting oddity displays. I learned a lot about Ripley the man and how he searched the globe for the unusual. He was way ahead of his time. Another very interesting section of the museum was all about the Titantic. One display allowed you to feel 28 degree water as many of the passengers of the Titantic experienced. After about 10 seconds it became uncomfortable. It was surprising how small of an area of the vessel was damaged on impact with the iceberg. There were numerous fun activities along the way. Making wax figures based on a mold of your hand was cool, but was a slow process if others were ahead of you in line. Overall, it was fun for both the adults and kids there!

I have been to other similar museums, but this one had more to see and do. Very interesting exhibits! The only downfall is that I don't think is appropriate for younger children, because of the violence shown in some occassions.
